Rebecca Simkins Nowak has been admitted to the bar and a litigator since 1996 and represents clients before various state and federal courts and agencies in the state of Michigan. She specializes in several practice areas, including labour law. Rebecca was previously a partner at a Detroit law firm, where she served as the firm`s employment law expert. Previously, she was an in-house attorney at a Detroit employment law firm. Rebecca also conducts HR research and advises corporate clients on risk assessment, regulatory compliance and human resources management. Rebecca frequently lectures on related topics. Daniel Galant graduated from Michigan State University in 1973. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Mathematics. In 1976, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Detroit, where he received his Laude degree. In 1976, he worked as a trainee attorney for Paul C. Weick, a judge on the United States Court of Appeals.

Until 2012, he worked as a labor and personnel lawyer for General Motors. He was responsible for benefits matters, including pensions, life insurance and health care issues.
